Coronado Municipal Golf Course

Opened in 1957, this course is mostly for the locals -- and visitors -- who just can't bear to leave the "island" of Coronado. It's an 18-hole, par-72 course with distractingly beautiful views of San Diego Bay, the Coronado Bridge, and the downtown skyline beyond; there are also a coffee shop, pro shop, and driving range. Half of the daily tee times are awarded via a day-of-play lottery...

Decent course but long round

This place is cheap and hence it attracts a lot of play. They allow more than four to play in a group which is crazy. Fun to play if you don't mind a 5+ hour round.

Too nice for a city golf course

With the bay out of bounds and Gloriour homes on the other it is too nice to consider it just a municipal golf course. Well maintained and worth a round of your time.
