Comforting stay during stressful time

Had to travel to Joliet from NC for a funeral. Stressful and sad time. The hotel staff was great and very accommodating. They allowed family members from around the country to gather and reminisce in their lobby, even supplying plates, cutlery and napkins for the food we brought in. The desk staff always had kind words for us each time we returned to the hotel.

This Comfort Inn is very new. Everything shines. Access from I-55 is complicated, but near the Joliet Mall. Many restaurants in the area.
Hotel staff was efficient and helpful. Breakfast was fair.
For a hotel so near the interstate, it was very quiet in the Comfort Inn.
