I had breast reconstruction following my mastectomy. On our first meeting he put us at ease, explained everything and helped us work through our options. He prepared us for the shock of reconstruction. The staff at CAP is super too. Everyone is very helpful and they go out of their way to make an uncomfortable situtation better. They are sensitive to patient's feelings.

Dr. Heck provided realistic expections of my breast reduction. I had two large scars from a previous emergency surgery two years ago. Dr. Heck removed the most visable scar and rotated the other to where it can not be seen in a bra or bathing suit. This scar will fade in time. Dr. Heck is perspicuous and professional. Because he was always rushed, what seemed obvious--scheduling too many patients and running atleast an hour behind. When I was getting my treatments, he was running in and out of room seeing other patients at the same time, and not present to observe any changes or reactions to my treatments.
