Help us make it rightCoors Field is the perfect baseball stadium. An old-school look, downtown location, GRASS surface, perfect seating arangement, the works. I sat out in right field and felt like I had the best seat in the house. My ticket was 6 bucks. Beautifully designed and amazingly maintained. Coors Field is what baseball is all about.
I've attended many games since Coors Field opened, and I have YET to find a bad seat! The view of the field from the concourses is even good! Parking is really a choice, given the excellent public transportation options. I take the train myself, $5 roundtrip, and never have to fight for a spot to park. We recently attended a Rockies game to watch Jimenez pitch. We paid for 3 tickets, parking in lot A, and some refreshments, totaling about $111. The game was delayed due to potential weather (?) for an hour and a half. It was unusually cold for mid-June and we were miserable just sitting there. It doesn't matter whose playing, whether it is raining or 100 degrees,...this is the best thing in life and we get to see it in Coors Field? It doesn't get much better than that!
Coors Field is a nice park all the way around. Great location near downtown. The surrounding Blake Street bars and pubs make it a good time before and after the game.
