Collegetown Bagels

Real Bagels, Not Noah's

Collegetown Bagels has authentic NYC-style chewy boiled bagels--not the shapeless steamed dough things that Noah's pushes. They have a full selection of coffee, salads and sandwiches, too, so you could eat breakfast,lunch, a snack and hang all afternoon on the wifi. This is a part of a local chain including the Ithaca Bakery. Collegetown Bagels also tries to be a bit progressive on the food, choices, too. Don't expect Starbucks coffee.

All the Collegetown Bagel stores are great with wonderfully fresh chewy bagels and delectable sandwiches. When I'm out of town I dream of their great lunches and coffee. Free wi-fi too!

A Cornell landmark. CTB is a great analogy for life at Cornell. The food (your Cornell experience) is good but expensive, the place (Ithaca) is charming but old and wierd, the employees (Cornellians) are friendly but not beautiful.

As much as it says it is a bagel place, I don't think I have ever seen Collegetown Bagels when it isn't packed with people. While I am sure this is in part due to the proximity it has with the Cornell University campus, the wide variety of food and drink, which is definitely not limited to bagels, certainly plays a large part as well. CTB has a wide variety of delicious bagels, wraps, smoothies, and pastries, which are great for any time of the day whether it be for breakfast or for a midnight snack. I would definitely recommended their Brooklyn Bagel. This restaurant is a must for all Cornell students!
