All the Collegetown Bagel stores are great with wonderfully fresh chewy bagels and delectable sandwiches. When I'm out of town I dream of their great lunches and coffee. Free wi-fi too!

Collegetown bagel has two locations- one on College the other on Aurora. The counter-service restaurants (who will bring your bagel/sandwich/soup to your numbered table after you order at the counter) offer a variety of options for vegetarians and vegans in addition to meat-fare. I guess CB is the kind of place people just love to hate. It's ubiquitous around Ithaca and bound to p@!s some people off. It's also got enough of a lock that it can charge pretty outrageous prices.

All that said. The food's damn good. Yeah, I've lived in NYC and know there are better bagels out there, but I've lived outside NYC long enough to know that CB is better than anything outside... more
