My friend rented a smelly house and had to leave the window open and run an air filter. When he moved we went back two weeks later with a truck to pick up a big item he'd left outside. The window was still open and it was January... House was still unrented and they'd obviously not looked at it or didn't give a darn if the landlord had to pay tons for heating.
