The Spanish tavern concept has been updated with a California touch here and caters to a funky 20-something crowd. Vintage photographs plaster the walls and the chef stokes a wood-fired oven in the corner. It's practically empty in early hours, but after 8:30pm, the small room hums with a chattering crowd. Chattering crowds smear spicy lomo embuchado (dry-cured pork loin) on toast... more

This place is awesome! The one star people should stay home and cook their perfect tapas themselves...or go to Spain and complain about those tapas. Sometimes it's not the staff...it's you.
