The ice cream here is awesome - even just the plain sweet cream flavor - and they have a good range of toppings, sundaes, shakes, etc. The sundaes and shakes are sometimes a safer bet because they're priced, whereas the ice cream is sold by weight, so you never really know what you're in for until they've scooped it and rung it up, which is a bit frustrating. Clumpies has the best ice-cream in town. If you wonder around downtown Chattanooga, and if youre feeling for something sweet, stop by Clumpies and grab a cone or a bowl of delicious ice-cream. Im a big fan of chocolate ice-cream (I know, Im different) and they definitely have the best ice cream around. I highly recommend stopping by when you get a chance. Youll love it.

Clumpies Ice Cream is located on Frazier Ave., right by Coolidge Park. It's the perfect location for an ice cream store, as you can either get ice cream and then head over to the park to relax and enjoy it, or leave the park to go sit inside and enjoy some ice cream. There is pleanty of seating available inside, where it's cool and comfortable, as well as there being seats on the back deck... more
