This 3-acre creek-side park illustrates the history of the area’s ranching, with two log cabins, several animal barns, a blacksmith’s shop, and a one-room schoolhouse from the 1870s. The buildings, which were moved to this site to save them from development in their original site in nearby Golden Gate Canyon, are open during special events. Allow about an hour.

Experience homestead life at the Clear Creek History Park at 11th and Arapahoe. Explore original 1870s homestead buildings including a cabin and barn as well as other important frontier fixtures such as a one-room school house, blacksmith shop, and root cellar. The museum offers living history demonstrations and self-paced exploration of the site and buildings seasonally, from May to September.
