Terrible venue for a concert. Too hot, no air conditioning, very little ventilation or fans, not allowed to sit at the event I went to. I was expecting to sit and since they didn't sell enough tickets (maybe) it was a standing only event. No cold water for sale within 15 minutes of doors opening, Really? you'd been setting up...

major restoration or teardown

Our city auditorium is in bad shape, and looks worse with the new court house across the way.The bathrooms are so old and worn they cannot be sanitized. The seats are so worn they can not be cleaned, there are even broken seats.

This white hulk of a building, with its "Classic Revival" architecture, looks like it should belong in Washington DC rather than Colorado. Built in 1923 for the amazingly low sum of just over $424,000, it, over the years, has brought entertainment to the masses.
