Remember the days when you could light up anywhere while sharing drinks with friends. Well come and cozy up in our lounge with a nod to the bygone era of jazzy indulgence. Circa Tabac is one of the only places in NYC were patrons are permitted to smoke. Enjoy impressive appetizers, coffee & desserts, cocktails, wine & beer alongside an assortment of cigars and an array of cigarettes. ItÂ’s easy...

This art deco smoking lounge is so cool, it could inspire even nonsmokers to light up. At many modern bars in New York, smoking is frowned upon and sometimes even forbidden. But at the dimly lit Circa Tabac, you feel like you have stepped back into the 1920s, when cigarettes were a natural part of life. With soft jazz playing in the background, smokers can relax, light up and absorb the mellow...

Escape from the city's tobacco-free zones and puff unrepentantly on one of the hundred-plus types of cigarettes offered here, from German Shepheard's Hotel to British Dunhills. In your other hand, clutch a highball the size of a refillable soft drink. As the place fills up (with both smoke and bodies), jazz and hip-hop drown out the air purifiers, and the faint whiff of some wackier tobacky...

A ventilation system blows all of that black smoke back into the Holland Tunnel traffic. Also you have to pay a $5 cutter fee if you do bring your own cigars.

Comfortable chairs, heavy velvet vibe, champagne cocktails, Slurpee-sized highballs, and carbon monoxide haze. If you're still sporting tastebuds, baby rack of lamb or pigs in a blanket available. 150-brand smoke list includes a $25 pack of Treasurers for those who...

One of the things I liked about this bar was the complete lack of pretentiousness. Even though I'm a cigar smoker, I liked that it felt like a normal bar that allowed smoking, rather than an upscale cigar bar. The staff were very friendly and devoid of attitude, and the place just had a cool and chilled vibe to it.
The cigar menu is decent but not extensive, although you can bring your own...

It's smoky but it's also romantic and makes you feel like you're in a different era. They have a cigar menu and sell over 150 different types of domestic and foreign cigarettes. A well drink was $9 but it was sizable and decently strong. Plus they have great appetizers and small plates. The bacon wrapped scallops were very good. It's around the corner from BYOB restaurant Ivo and Lulu--great...
