I have patronized this theater quite a few times in the past and here are my observations:

--the theater floors need to be washed periodically
--the cashiers are not always welcoming or friendly especially the short chubby black girl with glasses
--since this theater is on an upper floor, several escalators have to be used to access AMC 600. These escalators consistently break down.

OK - this theater is nearest my company, and I like to skate out to a matinee as often as possible. I also like to have a hot dog at the movies. When I get to this theater for the early showing, hot dogs are never available. The popcorn, my 2nd choice, is always room temperature as it's been sitting at the bottom of the bin for an hour. The cost is completely outrageous for the slim selection... more

in spite of soaring ticket prices, it's not too bad for a michigan avenue movie venue - it could probably use a bit of upgrading in terms of sound system and seating wear, but overall , it serves its purpose. i would avoid the concession, though... unless you're desperate and can't wait to pay $7 for a small bottle of water
