Joan Coukos' unique story of coming to be a confectioner via Wall Street is as wonderful as her custom recipes for her sweets. The handmade chocolates of Chocolat Moderne are full of the craft and flavor of her own invention, informed by years of studying the fine art of confections in France, Beglium, and Switzerland.
