Two of my coworkers took me to Chinatown and I ordered their shrimp and vegetables. Cost was $10.75 plus tax which was rather high for a lunch meal, but the food was very good. We had a choice of three soups, fried or steamed rice, and an egg roll.
Most Chinese restaurants have a menu which reads like a Russian novel. While impressive, I always wonder how a restaurant, ANY restaurant, can do a 100 different dishes well without taking shortcuts (like serving pre-prepared food, using heat lamps, etc.) Chinatown has a small menu, and each dish I've tried on it (about a dozen) have all been delicious.
