Business Description from the Web
It's a sad fact that diners don't necessarily
have to boast good food or service to become

I've loved going there since I was a little girl and went with my grandparents. The pies are incredible. And you can get them unbaked to go and bake at home. I only wish they had a website and shipped their pies!!
I *heart* Grand Marie's Chicken Pie Shop!!
I love it, I LOVE IT! I have been going there since I was a very young girl, back in the '50's, and it has not changed one iota. The chicken pies are as good today as they were then, and I hope that they remain here for another 50 years or more. A diner experience at its nostalglic American best.
The food is always great. There's no doubt about their delicious chicken pies. However, every time I am there, I always find myself waiting very long periods of time for service and sometimes the food is cold. If you plan to eat their food on a lunch break, definitely call ahead or take it to go.
