I specifically went to Marianos in Shorewood IL to purchase your ricotta cheese and was told they don't sell it anymore. What's up with that? Where can I get it?

I only use Chellino Ricotta for my lasagna and cheesecakes. I have tried many brands over the years and nothing compares to Chellino! I just found out Mariano's carries it now!!!

I recently went to Rubinos in Tinley Park, to get Chellino ricotta, where I usually go for it, but they told me they don't carry Chellino anymore,only Mancuso. The man there told me they were getting complaints from customers about Chellino ricotta, which I find hard to believe because Chellino has always been our favorite ricotta. Anyway, since we are having a party tomorrow, I had no choice...

I didn't discover Chellino Ricotta until last year and now I'd never want to be without it. It is so delicious that it's almost a waste to put it in Lasagna (thought it DOES make the best lasagna). I love to eat it right out of the container - it's that good. Besides the taste, the consistency is perfect. If you are using it for lasagna, you don't even have to add eggs to the Chellino...
