The food was over cooked ( like it had been microwaved fro previous day ) over priced and the service slow, very slow in fact. Not sure I want to be a family member when I pay 80 dollars for a meal . Sad , this place once had good reviews, now as some other commenter , I am wondering if this was all paid for propaganda .

iv been to many german places,this was the best german restaurant i have ever been too.I recomend chef hans cafe to anyone who enjoys amazing food.the owner is a nice young blonde women who will make sure your dining expeirence is exilerating.I recomended the black forest shinitzel with cheese cake studel.last thing i want to say is the dishwasher sean is the most amazing person ever he is nice...

Well I give it 3 star because there are plus' and negatives' to this place. I would have to start by saying that I have loved Chef Henry's Cafe for many years. and needless to say about 6 months ago I would have given him a full 5 stars but recently I believed it has changed hands. I have been in this cafe a few times in the last month or so and I must say that it has really taken a turn for the better. When I first happened to drop in I noticed that the place was kind of cluttered, the decor looked very dated and dirty/dusty, and also kind of cheap. I visited this place in November last year and loved it. The food was the best I have eaten for a long time and the owner was charming. I will go back this year next time I fly to the USA.
