It's the ultimate ski bum hangout in Park City. I stayed in the dorm (my first hostel-like experience) and had a fantastic time meeting and skiing with Charles (Tai) from New Zealand, as well as meeting the other interesting folks staying there. Just 150 yards from Park City Mountain Resort, this classic skiers' lodge has been run by the Hosenfeld family since 1963. The rooms aren't fancy, but they're clean and the service is as friendly as you'll find anywhere. You can choose one queen or a double and a twin. Or, if privacy isn't a must, you can rent a bed in the dorm room for $35 a night, which also includes the Continental breakfast.
