Help us make it rightThe Scene
This place may be part of a national chain, but the setting stands out. First it was a home, then a mortuary and finally a restaurant. It's a classic example of a 19th-century...
We truely surprised ourselves by even visiting a Chart
House again since our last experience was so awful (my
significant-other ended up in our hotel for two days
with food poisoning).
Having said that, this was a much more pleasurable
experience. We didn't have a reservation, but after a
short wait in their (very nice) bar we were seated. The
food was very nice, the service was attentive...
Good steaks from 94-99; Haven't been back since.
Excellent place for an elegant dinner at a fair price.
Seafood is very well prepared and nicely presented.
The Blue Cheese salad dressing is excellent.
Service and ambience leaves nothing to be desired.
I hadn't been to this Chart House before, but have been a big fan of
the Chart House in general. I was very disappointed (if there was 0
star rating I would have chosen it). Aside from the nice atmosphere
(old Victorian house), I was surprised to find that they don't have a
salad bar at this location which was one of the reasons I like the
Chart House restaurants so much. The real problem...
Great place. Excellent food.
(but no salad bar at this location)
This steakhouse offers American an emphasis on ribs, seafood and steaks. Expect the average entrée to cost over $30, and go dressed casual.
Eating & Drinking: Open for dinner.A full selection of alcoholic beverages are served.
The Chart House is a good place to visit before going to see a movie at the nearby Los Gatos Cinema.
