First they show you how to mount up and handle the horse so that BEFORE you leave the arena your comfortable with what your doing! This was very important to me a first time rider! Tails were beautiful ride thru woods, Trail guide was excellent, informative funny and extremely helpful, horses were in excellent condition and very well taken care...

Didn't live up to expectations

We had heard much about Charmingfare Farm, and stopped with our toddler grandson. Perhaps the special Halloween and Christmas events offer more.
When we arrived they had no guide or map of the farm, so one really didn't know whee or how to tour.
There were some special events such as horse pulled rides, pony rides, and tractor train ride....

Charmingfare is only 20 minutes away from Manchester which makes it a great place to visit when you have a few hours. My daughter had been a camper there and had very positive impressions so we went back today. It used to be better.
Some of the animal enclosures hadn't been cleaned probably for several days and didn't have enough/appropriate...

I have been to others, but not Charmingfare Farm. I was on a field trip with first graders who were very well behaved. The day was perfect . We walked around and saw many different animals, but the one thing that caught our eye, was that they were no signs at each stop identifying the animal and explaining a little...

Charmingfare is a real working farm. The fields get plowed and planted, the rooster crows in the morning and the barn cats continue to chase the mice! But there’s so much MORE that the farm offers.
