There are tourist traps in Charleston where they can take your money for little return. Water Taxi is not one of them. For $10 you can ride to different spots all day long. The crew person crew is friendly and efficient. The views are great.

A very quiet and pleasant way to get to Charleston. I would recommend getting the all day pass. Very handicapped friendly and they offer bottled water for a small fee. Plenty of seating.

We were staying on the Mt Pleasant side and there are a few choices to get over to Charleston proper, We chose the slow boat to Charleston. $10 for an all day pass. Actually, a round trip was enough. If you are vacationing on Mt. Pleasant or Sullivan's Island, the Water Taxi is a great way to reach Charleston's harbors. You can park at Patriots Point and hop to 3 other harbors every 15-20 minutes. All day passes very reasonable.

A convenient way to travel to downtown Charleston without driving. My son enjoyed the ride and the captain supervised him while my son drove the taxi.
