Is their taste too expensive to give good service? My fiance and I were casually walking around town after luch when I ran into Champagne Taste and wow did they leave a bad taste in my mouth. I was looking for a bridal outfit, a 1950's throwback, or something along those lines for an up coming photo shoot. I found a few things that were a bit pricey, but worth trying on. However, with nobody in the store other than myself, my fiance and the lady at front, it could not have been made more clear are presence was not welcome. I'm talking Pretty Woman here. I have never been made so uncomfortable as a potential customer. I thought this was a consignment shop in Kirkland, Wa...not Rodeo Drive. I would reccommend taking your time and money somewhere else, they obviously don't want it and most certainly don't deserve it.
This is the worse store I have ever entered. The owner does not welcome customers as they enter the store, she is rude and condecending. She is snobby, pretentious and downright nasty. I heard her insulting another customer on the clothes she had brought in to be consigned. She did this in front of other clients, with no respect for the consignee. What a class-less act the owner is. Her prices are too high-you can find nicer items at other nearby consignment stores. I can also purchase brand new clothes more reasonably at Nordstorm's and Saks than what this store offers. Stay away from this place. The used clothes are over-priced and the owner, in addition to her helper, need to learn how to treat customers with respect. Apparently they do not have respect for themselves. I will not under any circumstance, return to this establishment. The owner is a nasty person with a very unpleasant, unprofessional attitude.
Check it out. Teen age daughter found a lovely silk dress that fit like a T. Other good quality designer clothing, if you're in the mood to hunt a bit. Charming, really.
