I was dissapointed in reading the previous review. It in no way encompassed all that Chama offers! It is authentic in many ways - ie. the menu items are in spanish and translated thoroughly by our server. The sopes on the appitizer menu are great, not seen often in mexican cusine in denver. The restaurant is on the small side and the booths are not real private. The ambiance is nice and contemporary. This is as upscale Mexican can get. This was our second time here. Again, made reservations and still had to wait at the bar for 10-15 min until a table was ready. No problem though, a drink is a good way to unwind and extend the experience. I was impressed with the quality of their dishes. Great food, impressive Tequila menu, and great ambiance. I will definitly be back. Even if you are not a beer drinker, you should try the Michelada.
