A touch of the Emerald Isle comes to Smith Street with this charming little tavern. With plenty of Irish, British and domestic beers on tap, Ceol music in Gaelic also offers standard pub grub and a hearty Irish breakfastbrunch on weekends with all-you-can-drink Bloody Marys and mimosas. On occasion, the bar fills with the sounds of a live trad Irish band, but if you prefer a little lilting...

Dana and Alec are the best. Beer bingo on Mondays is a hoot. Good food. Nice spot. They have a fun Karaoke on the weekends.

I'm sad to say that the previously ok food at Ceol has really gotten bad. I think they've cut down on the menu choices, so you'd think what they are focused on making would be good, but it's not. Food was average, but served cold. Music extremly loud enough to go deaf. Not enough chairs or tables for large group gatherings. Service for large group parties is adaquate with more than 1 waitress and 2 bus boys. Near mass transit which is a big plus. Your typical Irish cusine.
Pros
+ Near mass transit
Cons
- Food is served cold
