Centro is usually the place we take visiting guests in our home to get a "Des Moines" experience. This place is amazing, from their menu to their location. I love their newly expanded menu that includes burgers, which is great for lunch!

I've eaten at Centro many times and always had decent service ... but the last time I went with a coworker for lunch, it was ridiculous. We waited 45 minutes for a table (understandable in lunch rush), then waited for the server ... then put our orders in right away. We ordered pizza and salads — very simple. But our waitress never came back. We couldn't find her and waited almost an hour... more

not that great considering paper and news seems to always talk about. lots of other italian restaurants that are better. did i say alot
