REAL COFFEE. The barista remembered my name the next time I came in. Warm fireplace for cold weather days, and freshly baked goods daily. Espresso drinks are a bargain compared to the 7th St chain joint. Owner is Charlotte native, making it a truly local place.

Jimmy is great - knows how to make a good cappuccino and latte! They also carry the best coffee around. Yummy pastries and breads are made daily. Great atmosphere and very convenient.

All the folks that work at Central Coffee make you feel welcome and comfortable. All of the baked goods we've tried have been delicious. We've even ordered full cakes and pies for dinner parties and they've always been a hit.
