Built around a landscaped courtyard, this is one of the more recommendable motels bordering the Historic District. Many Savannah motels, though cheap, are quite tacky, but this one has renovated suites with separate seating areas, oversize desks, and private patios. The restaurant serves a la carte and buffet breakfasts.

The location, right near the historic district, was ideal. The bedding was comfortable and the rooms attractive. The first room had a distinct mold smell, which seemed to surprise the front desk staff. A change was made without a problem, and the 2nd room smelled less of mold (though there was still some mustiness). Hotel probably needs some updating.
