Eavesdrop on advertising types who do the after-five mix-and-mingle at this spot in the lobby of the Leo Burnett Building. When it comes to food, have it your way: fish or shellfish come grilled, seared, baked, or woked. The multilevel dining room provides plenty of eye candy plus glimpses of the Chicago River beyond. The Scene Suits and business-casual types fill the camel-brown leather booths at Catch 35, where sky-high ceilings and a decor straight out of the '80s hearken back to the "greed is good" days of conspicuous consumption. It's comfortable for the corporate crowd, but not necessarily the kind of place you'd go for a romantic meal. The Food Catch 35's innovative seafood... more

Dive into the Loop looking for top-quality seafood and you'll surface at Catch 35. The riverside restaurant, sandwiched between businesses and bustle in the Leo Burnett Building, is the perfect place for all things fish. So much fish, in fact, that it's a nearly impossible feat to scan the menu and settle on just one type. Its ocean-size array of appetizers, salads, grilled fillets, wok... more

Catch 35 asked what she would like and made it for her. The Jazz band playing at the entrance is entertaining and priceless. This is elegant dining and I feel like Fred Astaire might just stroll past in a white... more

We ate early, about 6:00 to avoid the big rush... more

As we just walk in.. I was already impressed. Large yet intimate dining. We arrived 45 min before closing..
You would think the wait staff would be cranky, ready to go home. Well, I think we received the best service. I usually try different foods when on vacation.. So I choose the Halibut, topped with crabmeat. My choice was on the money.. Sooo good. My husband, being the carnivore he... more
