Horribly underwhelming group meal

My experience is unlikely representative of the restaurant usually - I went in a group of ~50 between Steamboat's summer and winter seasons. From a $50 meal, I expected more than a burger and salad; free beer would have been a start. However, I can't control the horrible deal the conference organised obtained.

Nice lunch after cross-counrty

The fish tacos and the game chilli were the perfect lunch after about two hours of cross country. The rest of the party ordered burgers and the pear quiche- everybody was happy with the food. The trails were not groomed because it snowed overnight- was fairly difficult to cut trails with classic skis.

This is a golf club restaraunt. I am not sure that it is always open to the public and may not be open in the winter, but it is worth a phone call to find out.
