This was the worst hotel I've stayed at. Cobwebs on light fixtures, burn hole in blanket, mold on the wall in the shower, tar on shower rod and light switches. This hotel is a 60's time capsule, which is something I wish there were more of. It is outdated (in a good way) and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again. Rooms are clean, staff was pleasant, a/c was on when we entered the room, which is mighty nice on a hot, humid summer day. The rocking chairs outside the rooms were a nice touch, too. This hotel is not intended to be opulent....

The people are friendly and the pool, room and public areas were clean and neat. I like the small family owned culture, it brings back memories from my youth.\n\nOur room smelled like mildew really strongly. My assumption is the A/C exhaust was pooling somewhere either from our room or one above us. It was borderline whether to stick it out or not.
