Business Description from the Web

With multi-million dollar bars popping up downtown on what seems like a weekly basis, Casey’s Irish Bar & Grille continues to do what it always has done (well, for the past 35 years or so, anyhow): Pour frothy imported beers, serve traditional Irish food and present a steady stream of classic rockers. With pressed-tin ceilings, high-backed wooden booths and a massive mahogany bar, the... more

Downtown lawyers, bankers and business-types crowd into this below-ground bar for after-work drinks during the week. The dark, wood-paneled walls, mahogany bar and mounted moosehead give the place the feel of an earlier era, which has landed it in the film Good Night and Good Luck , as well as the television show Mad Men.

Downtown doesnt have any basic pub's where you can get a good burger and a pint of guinness. Casey's is a good spot for exactly that. watch a game and relax without the pretention that you will find at most other places in the area. outdoor seating and pool tables available too.

I am a Bostonian transplant in Los Angeles, and was thrilled to find that this bar and grill downtown is not just Irish, but a Boston bar as well. Really good pub food, good prices, good beer, great ambiance, very nice patio...all in all, a great spot. I highly recommend the Guiness... more
