This restaurant has been serving the Albert Lea community for decades and has a large following of people who have been going there so long that it's "comfort food" for them. This is absolutely fine if that's what you're looking for.
Personally, I find their food to be bland, tasteless, and a shadow of what I expect in authentic Mexican...

We have been eating here for many years and it's the best. The cheesy nachos, burritos and enchiladas are our favorites.

Authentic no frills dining

If you like Mexican which is authentic this place is worth your time. The food was good and very reasonably priced. The service was friendly and pretty quick for a sit down dining experience.

I will say this is not your average Mexican food but there Enchiladas are out of this world. I do wish you got Chips and salsa but u don't but it a cute small little place and I crave it if I have not had it in awhile!

Excellent Authentic Mexican Food

The nachos are great as well as the tacos and margaritas!
If you are looking for real Mexican food this is a good bet. It's not really fancy for a romantic date. If you have not tried it yet definitely stop in.
