Bird-watchers are drawn to this contemporary hacienda-style B&B abutting the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. Hiking trails pass behind the property, and guided birding tours can be arranged. Each of the bright and modern rooms has handcrafted wooden furnishings from northern Mexico. A labyrinth for meditation and butterfly gardens surround the house.

Built with bird-watching tour groups in mind, this modern inn is set on the west side of the San Pedro River on 10 acres of land. The inn is built in the territorial style around a courtyard garden and has large, comfortable hotel-style guest rooms and a large common room where birders gather to swap tales of the day's sightings. The inn also offers birding, cultural, and history tours. This is...

Wonderful visit

My husband and I stayed at Casa de San Pedro for 2 nights, and we wish we could have stayed longer. We aren't birders, but loved walking around the trails right off the property. We also enjoyed lounging by the pool and just generally relaxing. Karl and Patrick are fantastic hosts who do everything possible to make guests feel welcome...

Wonderful Birder B&B

A friend arranged a birding tour for us and we stayed at this charming place for our two day trip. Outside the spanish style architecture building are many bird feeders attracting different kinds of birds - from hummingbirds to woodpeckers. We could have sat there all day just watching the birds. The interior of the Casa has a charming living...

Our recent 2 day stay was sadly too short. This is a great place not only for bird lovers but for anyone seeking peace and quiet, comfort, beautiful scenery and pleasant company. The buttermilk pancakes on the first morning were delicious and the quiche on the second morning was equally delicious. And don't get me started about the pies...how can...

I'm not a birder (twitcher UK) and didn't know about the abundance of wild bird species which can be seen around the Casa due partly to its proximity to the river and also partly due to work done with boxes and feeders to support them.
Food here was great with continuous availability of coffee, tea and home made pastries/ pies...

Wonderful gourmet breakfasts, pies and coffee available all day, comfortable rooms, fantastic service, and birds (lots of birds). On our last visit one of the owners helped me find and take photos of a Montezuma Quail.
I go on trips to take photos of birds. This B&B offers excellent photo possibilities right there in their yard. Then there are many...
