Carrington as a whole may be okay but if you are considering attending as a student please RETHINK ! There are so many other trade schools that would be such a better choice. I was disgusted by the end of the veterinary assisting program! Tawnya cantu is one of the most unprofessional instructors I've ever experienced. She curses in class. Tells students that they are stupid in front of the entire class. It's a mess, unorganized and unprofessional. I am sorry to say I paid over 14,000 dollars to have a teacher say every other day that she's not paid enough to deal with students. And if you...
I just want to express that Carrington College Portland, OR campus have many hard working staff who really care about the success of their students. Carrington College’s Portland campus provides hands-on training in a number of medical and professional programs in Oregon including Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Pharmacy Technology, Medical Billing and Coding, Massage Therapy, and Veterinary Assisting. Outside the classroom, we offer a Student Success Center, which includes a medical library equipped with reference materials, textbooks and journals. Carrington College’s Portland campus is centrally located inside the Lloyd Center Mall, within two blocks of the Lloyd Center/Northeast 11th Avenue TriMet MAX station stop.
