The decor, from the chianti bottle door handles to the fake mosaic tabletops, was ridiculous. Carrabba's is excellent food if one understands that it is a chain restaurant built around a clever theme. The grilled items are uniformly excellent and tasty, the pastas are cooked al dente and well prepared, and the sides are not overlooked. My favorite chain restaurant in Aurora. The staff is great. While the standard Carrabba's chain stuff is present, there's something about this particular store that makes it stand out. I've sampled the cuisine and service at many other stores, including Jacksonville, FL, Atlanta, GA, and Albuquerque, NM, but they don't compare.
