Get It In Writing!

Finalization date: Our job ran 9 weeks over before we canceled the rest of the job. Fixtures Type: Carney was planning on putting in cheap chrome fixtures before we reminded him we wanted bronze. The plumber installed the shower wrong, twice. Confirm design in detail, anything left to "understanding" will be wrong. He is impatient & rude when challenged...then asks for a "bonus" when a mid-job milestone is reached, even if late. By ALL means, put a final due date int he contract, don't let him talk you out of it!

No Respect or Communication

His subs are craftsmen, but there was no supervision of our bathroom remodel estimated to be complete in 3 weeks and still incomplete at 9 weeks. The subs were working freehand. Plumbing was not set for the shower style chosen, even after ripping out the ceramic the second time around. Marble counter-top was cracked and necessity of new piece contested. Incorrect cabinet drawing was given to carpenter and it had to be rebuilt. Incorrect shower ceramic layout was given to tileman & had to be redone. That's the litany: "That can be fixed". Damage to existing door frame and outside gate never addressed. Just wanted to get him out of the house.
