Great location, short walk to downtown area. Nice pool, good for families. Staff was friendly and accommodating.\n\nFloors needed to be mopped.
The room itself was very nice and the bed comfortable.\n\nThe gardens and landscaping were completely abandoned & facilities not maintained. Torn & dilapidated outdoor furniture, overgrown and dead gardens. New owners were going to be making complete renovations - but we booked because great gardens advertised.
The hotel's location is just outside of downtown Carmel Valley which is convenient. It is an easy 5 minute walk to wineries, shops, and restaurants. The hotel room was of nice size, and the bed was comfortable. The gas fireplace was very nice.\n\n2 things that can definitely be improved. 1.Closing the pool and jacuzzi at 9pm is way too early. This is a long ways form golf...lol. My fault. The room was nice but i think if someone used the water next to me I had a very hot shower
