I took my sister, who is in culinary school, in hopes of offering her a taste of high end southern cuisine. The abiance was very old-school southern with peachy brochade and heavy carving. Check. The service was fabulous. check. Unfortnately , the food *could* have been great but it was seriously lacking in salt. Now, I hate salty cooking. I rarely add salt in my own, personal, home...

The Hermitage Hotel has been restored to its original glory after a recent multi-million dollar renovation. The lobby is an incredible collection of stained glass and marble columns. The rooms are a little on the small side, but very nice.
