This "dive bar" is actually pretty nice, and it's just a stones throw from my condo . . . who said it was a dive, anyway? It seems the new owners are attempting to remove the old stigma. A group of us go to Cap City almost on a weekly basis. The staff has never been anything but friendly and the service has always been timely. Even on a busy night, we never have to ask more than once and our orders are correct. The staff is personable and remembers personal details to make you feel welcomed.
I have lived here in Denver for 3 years moved for Cali been looking for a USC bar i have found it. It starts with Ron who will run in the street when USC scores play the fight song when they score. Then you get to the people who will sit down and talk to you like they have known you for years. The bar tender you will give you a hard time when you say something stupid. Just a great place to be
