Cod, Dungeness crab cakes, bouillabaisse, and Yaquina Bay oysters are among the specialties of this Newport dining spot up the hill from the center of the Bayfront. There's also a deli counter for takeout. The restaurant, which has an outdoor patio, is to one side of a well-stocked bookstore. Adjacent Club 1216 has live music on Friday nights.

This is one of the best restaurants in Newport. It's got charm like Café Mundo, but the food is better. Great bay views and the owners/staff are really friendly. It's Oregon quirky with sophisticated elements. Great for vegetarians and those looking for something more interesting than typical burgers and fries. Great coffee and IPA on tap. Don't miss it.

We have been coming regularly to Newport for many years but today was the first time we had stopped at this interesting little shop and restaurant. It will definitely not be the last time. We enjoyed dinner at Canyon Way. Everything we got was very good. The mixed drinks were excellent. The service was very good also.
