Nothing even the slightest bit unhealthy found on the menu of this small, breezy, beachside health resto. Sacrificing calories doesn't mean sacrificing flavor, though. Apps and mains alike, such as pumpkin seed crusted poblano pepper stuffed with goat cheese and shrimp, and fresh vegetable pasta ribbons with chili, mint, mushroom Bolognese, are inventive and thoughtfully created with...

We came all the way from London to experience a tranquil getaway. However after three nights we have spotted some dirt in different areas of the room which looked like choclate or mice stool and we mentioned the topic to the reception which assured us that there is no mice in the hotel and it would be cleaned. When we came back from dinner the room was cleaned but there was same kind of...

Excellent accommodations; we had a suite for 2 adults, 2 teens. The sitting area was spacious and my daughter sleep on the platform sofa (wood frame with cushions, not a regular spring cushioned sofa). Huge bathroom with walk-in shower. Giant soaking tub which we didn't use. Open plan kitchen with small refrigerator, microwave/oven, stove, coffee maker, and sink. Island table with 2 bar...

The hotel is right on the beach. Even though it says private beach, I did see a couple of homeless people on the beach. The beach area was open and anyone could walk up. I didn't see much staff on the beach, it seemed hard to get help with chairs on umbrellas for the beach. I would have liked to see more security around to feel safer knowing that the area is wide open to anyone off street. the...

Tips about this business (3)

Know Before You Go

All 150 suites have kitchenettes with small refrigerators. That may come in handy if you somehow tire of the heart-healthy nutritional menus offered throughout the resort.

Fun Fact

Before its fitness-friendly makeover, this was the iconic Carillon Hotel.

Parking

Overnight valet is a stiff $35 a night. There is no self-parking available. If you don't plan on driving around much, getting around by cab is cheaper than renting a car.
