I have been visiting Kauai since 1978. For the last or so years I have been eating at the CampHouse. I am glade to say it is better again. A few years ago the owner had been absent, and sometimes that showed. We visited with him on our last trip, and he filled us in on whats been going on. He is back and the service is better. The food has allways been the best value in the state. Any way...

The place is stuck in the interior of an outdoor mall and doesn't look like much inside or out but the burgers are the best we ever ate. It was highly recommended to us by the locals and they were right. If you don't care about ambiance, like friendly servers and good food, this is the place for you. I wish I lived near this place. Don't leave Kauai until you have eaten here.

The food was absolutely delicious, but the wait staff was snotty and made us feel like we should "go home". We went a second time just incase we were way off base and the same thing happened the second time. We probably won't be going back next time we visit Kauai

I love their burgers...their fries and their zucchini sticks...the building is old and run down but the food is still good...I eat over there more than any other place in kalaheo

A remnant of the once thriving sugar industry, the Camp House Grill is literally an early Hawaiian plantation workers housing structure; of which very few still exist. This unique history flavors the ambiance here, but the real flavor is to be found in the delicious meals cooked up fresh at the Camp House. They offer sizable portions of a wide range of Hawaiian and international favorites, all...

Featuring the most extensive breakfast menu in Kauai, this casual dining restaurant also features an extensive steakhouse menu for dinner, as well as signature burgers, ribs, and homemade pies, all served in a homestyle atmosphere. They are open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Occupying a building that once housed plantation workers, this casual restaurant serves awesome, downhome food that folks can't help but love. Portions are enormous, and breakfast does the place proud with biscuits and sausage gravy, corned beef hash, bacon and eggs, and omelets. The rest of the day, look forward to burgers, ribs, fresh fish, rotisserie chicken, and some of the most luscious...

The sugar industry was once the dominating force of the Hawaiian Islands. People from a number of foreign countries came to work on the plantations, and were housed in wooden structures known as "camp houses." This is one of a few still standing. Its history is best explained through the photographs that adorn the walls. The menu consists of solid, down-home favorites served in sizable...
