Cakes Amore in Plano, Texas is a custom gourmet cake shop AND retail supply store in one. A dedicated team of the most talented and skilled award-winning decorators and pastry chefs are ready to make whatever your heart (and taste buds!) desire.
They failed to deliver or even make the cake for my wedding - they claimed they mis filed our order - then told us it was not there problem - extremely heartless service - if you can, avoid doing business with them.
Extremely pink, soft , cool and pleasant an experience ... Though I didn eat Any - everyone's mutual smiles appraised it all. The beauty of the place, ambience and each piece's work - was exciting and an experience! Though I just took a bite of the red velvet and a Look at the chocolate brownie - worth the small break we took! :D
I tried to go here on 7/25/14 to pick up some cupcakes for my wife, but they are closed. FYI.

We had two cakes from Cakes Amore. The bride's cake was yellow with Bavarian Cream filling, and the best cake I've ever had in my life. The groom's cake was Mexican chocolate with strawberry filling, also divine, that looked like the Aggie Bonfire. They were very friendly and gave us a taste trial with extras to take home, plus they matched my wedding colors perfectly on the bride's cake....
Cakes Amore made 2 fantastic cakes for our reception. The bride's cake was a 4 layer vanilla with lemon curd and white chocolate filling. It was white with black piping and red roses. The groom's cake was mexican chocolate with a raspberry filling in the Texas Tech logo colors and shape. Both were absolutely the best cake we have ever had at a wedding reception!
