Love the deep fried Okra!

I admit it, I go there for the Okra, but the broiled chicken is excellent! However, I have noticed that it is better in the afternoon or early evening than later in the evening. Also, the side portions are a little small, but very good. They recently raised their prices so a 2 piece with beverage will hit $9 bucks.

If you want something good and quick, eat here!! The food is great! The atmosphere is pleasant! Fast service! Make sure you go back so you can try everything at least once!! You have to try the gumbo w/ a touch of mac & cheese in it!

Every now and then, when you're in a huge hurry and don't want to take time to shop or cook (or both!), this is a great option. These guys do great chicken in 'regular', roasted or barbecue. Buy a la carte or dinners with various quantities of chicken and side dishes. The corn muffin comment above is right on - very, very good.
