One of the best restaurants in Rockford!
We went to caffe greco recently - We felt like we went into the "nazi
sosup kitchen from Seinfeld". The bartender was so incredibly
rude and the waitress was too. We had heard the food was very good
so we stuck it out. The bartender and waitress kept swearing under
their breath because it was so busy and they were not able to handle
it. However, the attitude of both of them was so...
When I go home to visit family in Rockford, I insist on eating here
at least once. It's very casual and offers old-fashioned
Italian cuisine.
Excellent restaurant off the beaten path. Italian dishes are
great and the specials are often unique and grand. The baked grouper
was fantastic- generous portion. The lobster raviolli was fine.
