Ann Arbor's premiere breakfast, lunch and dinner destination International influences + local mindset

Cafe zola ann arbor, mi195251attr:bar

We pride ourselves on being the best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Ann Arbor and beyond. We are an independently owned and operated business, which was opened by owners Hediye Batu and Alan Zakalik in March 1996. The name "Zola" comes from Emile Zola, the famous French writer, because the original breakfast and lunch menu is largely influenced by French cuisine and culture.

Brunch fans should visit the salmon hash with horseradish cream sauce. Dinner items are just as creative and include a filet of Loch Duart salmon on a bed of...

The best way to explore the potentialities of crepes and the Ann Arbor dining mode.

In Short
Someone may be stretched out on the sofa. Watch your crepe being made. Zola's crepes are fragile and fine, ranging in color from palest yellow to whole-wheat brown. Sandwiches,...

Made a reservation for 7:30, we were still waiting for a table at 8:15, this restaurant just lost four possible customers for life, don't take a reservation that you can't keep...ruined our evening.

We had a reservation for three and showed up on time. Our reservation was found and we were told the table would be 'ready in just a minute'. 50 minutes later we left hungry... We were never seated. What is the point of a reservation if it is not honored???

My wife and I each ordered the steak special. Mine was extremely tough and flavorless, I should have sent it back but I've never done that before, so didn't. My wife said hers was very good. When we were seated right next to the bar, we asked for a table further in and were given one, but told we'd have to be done by 8:00 if we sat there. We were done before then, but it set a poor tone for the...
