The dough at J.T. McHart’s is made from an old sour dough recipe, made daily and hand tossed to each order. We prefer our normal thick curst; however, a lighter thin crust is available. Our Sauce is a mixture of the finest tomatoes available and a mild accent of several herbs and spices. If; however, you prefer a sauce with a little extra spirit, we have prepared for you an extra spicy sauce... more

The Scene Tables and chairs are set outside, while the inside decor is polished and borderline swank. The chandelier lighting is dim, and there's always something to look at--boxing gloves, busts, 1950s pin-up portraits and contemporary artwork. Patrons range from Stork Club's punk-rock stock to downtown corporates who stopped in to see the fuss on this otherwise-dead-after-5pm strip... more

Oaksterdam district cool spot puts out casting call for flaunters and haunters, so they came. New Orleans funk bands mingle with local B-bop, jazz, and R&B cats Thursday through Saturday. Guys in fedoras, live music and resident ghost clinking glasses amid chaos of collectibles that line walls, hang from ceiling, and pile up around the bar. Ornate with trinkets and heavily stocked with the top... more

We came here to enjoy a night out of good music. The drinks were good, the atmosphere was great, but the music was not good. We were charged a high cover to listen to the music, which we didn't mind, but after an hour of waiting, the music still hadn't started. We ended up leaving without hearing any music at all!

Not really a place to hang out and meet people, but a good place to hang with people you ALREADY know. The place is great, as long as you don't come in when daylight can still peek thru.... music is loud, but awesome, the live acts here are always fresh.

Terrible experience!

I had heard around about this bar, that it was a cool hang-out, so me and my boyfriend went to it. This place is the worst. Totally lame. Too many hipsters and everyone who worked there except the doorguy was rude, drunk, and annoying. Avoid it if you can.
