Always voted one of the top romantic restaurants in the city, CafT Majestic is an oasis of Victoriana located on the edge of Japantown. Lace-edged curtains and tinkling music provide a wonderful setting for the warm service and delicious cuisine that changes with the seasons. We just had Christmas Eve dinner at Cafe Majestic and it was a thoroughly wonderful experience. The service was friendly and attentive (although the bartender seemed a bit cranky - not at all in the holiday mood), the prix fixe menu featured primarily seafood and was delicious, and the ambiance/setting is comfy and classy. We look forward to returning on a "normal" night for dinner.

A winner in every aspect!

The plush interior in this historic spot blew me away - i love comfy chairs. The dining room is stunning with its rich gold and white brocades and romatic feel. Our waitress was lovely and very... more

This place is a hidden gem. Food is excellent, whatever you do you HAVE to order Foie Gras in whatever form its in when you go. I was not disappointed. Its a little on the strange side that the prices are reasonable when the food is this good. I've done my google stalking....all I can say is, catch Chef Ian Begg now while its this easy.

Service is impeccable, the waiter didn't look at me... more
