Pricey, but so worth it. Food is always delicious. Doesn't look like much from outside, but it's a very nice atmosphere inside. Service was great every time, no complaints. Recommended.

Our party of six had a quiet table in a brightly lit room with wine racks as the décor. From appetizer to salad, to soup, to entre the lunch was excellent and very authentic Italian food. Of particular note were the stuffed mushroom appetizer, the stuffed crab claw appetizer, the spinach and egg soup, the salmon Picatta, the grilled Cajun...

Good restaurant, consistently good food. This is a very busy restaurant, I would recommend reservations definitely. The fish is always delicious, specials often have Bronzino style. The red sauce is very tasty. And they also make magnificent French Martinis!

This gem of an Italian restaurant is located in a tired strip mall - but persevere - leave the car with the valet - and enjoy one of the better Italian meals on Long Island. Veal Chop Valdestano is magnificent - the Osso Bucco just melts in your mouth - but look around the menu -they are an amazing restaurant...

Cafe La Strada is all about Gourmet Food and Wine. Divided into two rooms, one room boasts wall to wall wine racks, displaying hundreds of bottles, with more in the wine cellar. There are more than 16,000 bottles altogether. Some are sought after reserves and some are estate bottled. We even offer four Gourmet Wine Tasting Dinners.
